Gameplay Tips

Cascadence is an innovative twist on the classic Tetris formula.

Unlike the traditional “clear full lines,” your objective here is to match blocks of the same color to form 2×2 or larger squares to clear them.

The core gameplay revolves around color matching and chain reactions (Cascades) — the smarter you place, the more spectacular the chains!

• Focus on colors, not rows — Try to bring matching colors together to form 2×2 squares.
• Predict upcoming colors — Plan ahead to trigger larger combos.
• Use chain reactions — One match can trigger multiple cascading clears for higher scores.
• Keep the board level — Avoid tall stacks or isolated blocks to leave room for matching squares.
• Use Hold (Shift) wisely — Save important colored pieces for the perfect timing.
• Don’t rush the drop — Sometimes slowing down lets you set up a bigger cascade.
